King of Battle and Blood by Scarlett St. Clair

Vampires, enemies to lovers, and arranged marriages, along with some other surprises. Purchase | Review

Tricky Magic by L.L. Campbell

Paranormal romance with witches, demons, wolven, and so much spice. Purchase | Review

Call of the Ride by C. Rochelle

Spicy retelling of Baba Yaga with lots of fun, drama, and intricate plotlines. Purchase | Review

Priest series by Sierra Simone

This is just so hot it deserves to be here just because of that. The plot is really good too. Purchase | Review

Fae Elementals series by Aleera Anaya Ceres

Diverse, flawed characters, familiars, the rebellion, fae drama, and sooo much more! Purchase | Review

Marry the Scot/Wild Scots/Wild Mountain Scots series by Jolie Vines

Modern contemporary Highland romance. I devoured these! Purchase | Review

Madison Kate series by Tate James

Dark contemporary reverse harem with stalkers, slight bullying, and cliffhangers that will rip your heart out. Purchase | Review

Hades series by Tate James

A spinoff of the MK series, Tate just gets so much darker and meaner with this one. One of my all time favorite series now. Purchase | Review

Honey Trap by Tate James

A spinoff of MK and Hades, this one focuses on the Guild and introduces us to some super dark and complicated characters that I immediately fell in love with. Purchase | Review

A Lady of Rooksgrave Manor by Kathryn Moon

Spicy monsters meets League of Extraordinary Gentlemen meets regency brothels. It’s just so damn good. Purchase | Review

Gilded Mess by Colette Rhodes

A reverse harem paranormal/shifter retelling of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. It’s so much fun! Purchase | Review

A Touch of Malice by Scarlett St. Clair

I think this is the most heartwrenching book I’ve read from Scarlett. This is book 3 of the HxP saga, and just…the emotions. Purchase | Review

Sea of Ruin by Pam Godwin

A very dark historical pirate romance with twists and turns you’ll never see coming. Very dark though, read the trigger warnings. Purchase | Review

Firekeeper’s Daughter by Angeline Boulley

An OwnVoices First Nations book, this contemporary mystery/thriller was by far the most complex and intricate book I’ve read this year. It does not have a happily ever after, and that made it even better I think. Very realistic, read the trigger warnings. Purchase | Review

Have you read any of these? What were your top reads of the year?
