Some friends over in this really cool book club are hosting a summer read along dubbed Hot Pirate Summer... and we all know that's right up my alley. So here I am to recommend even more pirate books!

But First...Join The Book Club

These books are either ones I have read or ones my trusted friends have read and recommend. If you have other pirate books you recommend, drop them in the comments! I'm always looking for more to read!

This list is in no particular order. I am chaotic at best and putting things in order would not be fun. I would also like to point out these are not all of the pirate books I own, but I felt like 15 would be a good number.

If you're looking for even more pirate recs, check out my other recommendation videos on TikTok (there's 3...for now)!

Seafire trilogy - Natalie C. Parker

After her family is killed by corrupt warlord Aric Athair and his bloodthirsty army of Bullets, Caledonia Styx is left to chart her own course on the dangerous and deadly seas. She captains her ship, the Mors Navis, with a crew of girls and women just like her, who have lost their families and homes because of Aric and his men. The crew has one mission: stay alive, and take down Aric's armed and armored fleet.

But when Caledonia's best friend and second-in-command barely survives an attack thanks to help from a Bullet looking to defect, Caledonia finds herself questioning whether to let him join their crew. Is this boy the key to taking down Aric Athair once and for all...or will he threaten everything the women of the Mors Navis have worked for?

The first in a heart-stopping trilogy that recalls the undeniable feminine power of Wonder Woman and the powder-keg action of Mad Max: Fury Road, Seafire reminds us of the importance of sisterhood and unity in the face of oppression and tyranny.

This Savage Sea (Tides of Fate) - A.P. Walston

An archaeologist with a secret.

Three years had trickled by since Anna accomplished the impossible. Three years of avoiding Briland high society, toiling away in ancient ruins among the dead. But when her brother is detained by marshals, Anna jumps at the chance for another fast-paced adventure.

A pirate longing for home.

Trevor had tasted nothing but frustration and disappointment in his search for a map and the lass who stole it. Unable to return home without it, an opportunity finally presents itself in the form of a naval captain’s arrest. Armed with a half-baked plan of impersonating one of the marshals, Trevor finds himself sitting across from the lovely thief in a wicked twist of fate.

A naval captain caught in the middle.

If Markus had known possession of the Pirate King’s map would be this much trouble, he would have told Anna to burn it all those years ago. Despite being the key to clearing his name, he considers the map the least of his concerns. Not with Anna and her mysterious companion dancing around their mutual attraction.

With their rescue attempt behind them, Anna learns the only way to truly save Markus involves the map she stole from the Pirate King. Forging their way through the desert and straight to the Briland capital, Anna finds herself fighting more than feelings of distrust for their new companion.
